Rodney Mullen is said to have created skateboarding as a sport. He invented tricks like the Ollie, kick flip, 360 kick flip, and many more. In addition to inventing tricks, he also pioneered ways to ride the skateboard as well as inspiring creativity in other skateboarders. This is why Rodney is known as the godfather of street skateboarding.
